7.3l fuel heater

Found out my fuel heater is shorting out my fuse. Disconnected the connector and it started right up. My question is 'Is it OK to run without the fuel heater?'. It is 8 degrees out this morning looking for a high of 23 today.

Yes. We have customers that don't ever fix them. Obviously you run a risk of small issues but I haven't seen them. Be sure to use an anti gel in colder temps. Most trucks after the 7.3 don't even use them.
