1978 F250 Turning on the Heater/Defroster fogs Windshield instead of clearing it. I see a fine mist or smoke that comes through the Heater and Defrost vents. Is this an indication that the Heater Core is bad?

Anyone out there know how to change or replace the Heater Core in a '78 F250? Please help.

You are correct , that usually indicates the heater core is leaking sometimes accompanied with coolant smell .Cant help you with replacing it , though someone may be on later who can advise .
