jd's 86 FORD Registered User Join Date: Dec 2006 Posts: 5	86 F-250 with tranni troubels I've got a 86 F-250 4X4 with a C-6 three speed and I'm having tranni trouble.went out to go to work and backed it out of the drive just fine,went to put it in drive,rpms went to about 2000 then it finaly kick in,check the fluid level and it was fine,once it engages it is fine and runs strong,has new torque converter in it,I'm out of ideas here,anyone got anyideas on what could be going on?
