The other day while trying go through the 3 selections for 4 wheel drive, the shifter broke off. I can't figure out what type screws are in the boot to get it off are they phillips, torx, or somethong else?

I was able to pull boot up on one side and look at the bottom of shifter and it has two nuts/bolts in it. Is this a hard part to swap out?

Just bought truck about 1 month ago, only drove it 2-3 times, it's not my primary vehicle. Might have to sell it.
