tfettig Registered User Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Elwood, IN Posts: 1	'89 F250 idle problem my '89 F250 has an idle problem. it's got a 351 windsor with EFI. i took it to the local high school to have the valve cover gaskets changed and they messed it up big time. i've put numerous new parts on it and even had it taken to an engine shop and it still idles weird. sometimes it will idle really high and other times it will idle really low, barely enough to stay running.
