89 F250 stalls on acceleration - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey guys, I have a 89 F250 5.8L. It has been running fine, but within the last couple of weeks Im having a problem accelerating form idle at stop lights and signs. When I accelerate the RPM's drop and sometimes it dies or almost dies. I dont have any surges while driving. I have given it a tune up with plugs, wires, rotar and cap, and TPS, fuel filter. I have run injector cleaner in it a couple of times. Sometimes it has a hard time starting, and sometimes it runs just fine. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Just changed the oxygen sensor, no joy. The MAF sounded promising but this particular make a model does not have one. Im going to run the fuel injection test you sent me and see what I get. Thanks.

I forgot, yours has the MAP sensor and I know of no easy way to check it. See what comes of the test.
