92 f150 idle and shutting off problems

before all this happened i installed new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor and distributor.so last Sunday i went for a 30 min drive with my truck came to a stop light and it just shut off. so i waited a little bit and it started up again.i got towed back home. so this friday i got time to work on it and i put in another distributor. it runs like a bear but just it sounds like it is missing every so often and if i let it idle for a little bit it will just shut off. idk what the problem is. can anyone help me here? thanks

I'd say to retrace all you've done and see if there are any loose connections or? Where'd you buy the parts? They aren't built in China are they? You can never know what you're getting any more.
