92 F150 - Inline 6 - 5-spd manual

I have a 1992 F150 - 2wd - 5-spd manual Super Cab. I have 106,000 miles on it.

I want to service the manual transmission and the rear differential. I have never done either of these before and am looking for advice on how to service both pieces, what I should replace when doing so, and correct quantities of oil/lube to add once the old lube has been removed.

Is this the number?

P2AE-6E061-GBC

There is a ton of numbers on this tag including the paint code, VIN, tire and rim size, etc, etc, etc

If this is not the number, can you give me an idea of what it might begin with, an example or ???

That's the M50D (Mazda) transmission. The Disserential is has 3.55 gear ratio snd 3800 lb. capacity.

The transmission has a drain on the drivers side rear of the case. The fill plug is the same size. It holds 7.6 pints (3.6 Liters) of Dexron II.

The differential has to have the rear cover removed to drain it. The filler plug is above the flange on the drivers side. It takes 75w90 gear oil. You can use Synthetic fluids which give you better mileage and less wear on the gears.
