Good afternoon everyone, I am having a problem with my truck and I will give as much info as I can and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction as to where to go from here. I have a '92 F250 4x4 with a 5.8L engine. I had a coolant leak pop up and I needed my truck that week. I did not have time to make the proper repair so I did what I always try to avoid. I put a bottle of stop leak in my radiator on a Wednesday evening and I drove to church. I let the truck idle a few minutes and made the 12 minute drive and the truck ran like she always did. On my return home a few miles from my home it started running badly. I had to power brake it at the light to keep it running and was full pedal to the floor just to keep it going about 8 mph the final 2 miles or so. I made it home, parked and then the truck would not restart. I have been spending time looking at possible causes and I currently am at a loss. It has the 2 tanks and switching between them I can hear the fuel pumps in each tank. I hooked up a fuel pressure tester at the rail and have 40psi (my book says 35-45 is in spec). I have spark. I plugged an injector lamp into 1 injector and it flashes as I crank the engine. yet no start up. I sprayed carb cleaner into the throttle body and it fires right up and runs smoothly as long as I am spraying the carb cleaner. I took a guess that maybe something in the ECC was a possible problem and the local parts store had it for $105 so I gave it a shot but still nothing. I took a wild guess since I now desperately need to get my truck running since our car was totaled on Sunday and of course the others insurance isn't giving me anything for the car since it was a 94 their amount doesn't even cover the tow and storage bill which needs to be paid before I am allowed to even get my belongings from my car. Only is jersey I guess. Thanks for any suggestions to a possible cause of this no start condition.
