s46rlc Registered User Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Miami Posts: 1	94 ford f-150 serpentine belt tensioner I have a 1994 F-150 V-8 5.0 Liter Ser.#1FTEF15N3RNB..... My problem is with the serpentine belt tensioner. I am trying to change the bearing and pulley at the end of the assembly, but can't loosen the bolt. Is it reverse threads? And the housing assembly is made of cast aluminum, and am afraid of putting it in a vise for fear of cracking or breaaking this assembly. Any thoughts as to how to accomplish this task. Found out you replace the whole assembly, available from AutoZone for a Goodyear OEM manufactured distrubutor part for$52.99!! Do not need any help. Thanks anyway!!!
