My 1995 F-150 wouldn't start. I put a new starter, sylenoid, and charged the battery. The truck starts but the starter stays ingaged, resulting in it ruining said starter. Remedy? Thanks

Try checking the wiring from your swap, sounds like you may have a wire on the wrong connection.

I would have to agree with "GG" If the Starter switch has a open relay it still should cause the starter relay to stop.

Pull the small LB/R wire off the relay and reconnect the battery. If the starter still spins, you wired the starter relay wrong. Read this caption:
