Question '95 F150 Won't Start

My '95 F150 with 302 cu.in has 130,000 miles on it. Recently, it stalled on me. I tried to start it and it would just turn over but wouldn't start.

I checked for spark and there was none.
I checked the distributor cap and rotor and they were clean, dry and in good shape. The connector coming out of the side of the distributor was clean and tight.
I tried to start it the next day and it started.
I moved it, tunred it off and tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. Checked for spark and there was none.
I left it overnight and came back with a new coil and replaced it. I also replaced the high tension wire between the coil and distributor. Turned it over, still no spark.

Any suggestions?

Ignition module is a common failure on the Fords.

Thanks for your responses.

The ignition module, like the pick up assembly in the distributor?

No, it's not the same thing.

Re: '95 F150 Won't Start

Well I am having the same problem with my 95 Ford F150 except mine will shut off on you going down the road in addition of not wanting start sometimes. The only thing that I have not replaced is the ignition module or the pcm. Voltage checks recently done indicated that the ignition module may be good; At least when the truck is running. Let me know if you find something and I will do the same. GOOD LUCK!
