I have a 96 F150 and it has 130K miles on it. I haven't done nothing to it lately other than plugs, cap, wires, rotor and coil. It was running fine for a while and then it started running ruff after it was warm. Once you went to restart it, it would sputter and putt and seem like it was flooding out, then straighten out and run fine. Once you go to restart it, the same events would start over again. I dumped a can of carb cleaner down the intake at each section. NOTTA!! I changed the fuel filter. (that was fun) NOTTA!! NO check engine light but it is showing 4 monitors that won't reset. EVAP..EGR..Secondary 02..?? Don't remember the fourth one. If it was the fuel pump, wouldn't it just shit the bed??? Could it be the EGR valve. I looked one up at Napa and they want $80 WoW !!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it seems to get worse while driving, it could be a plugged cat. A worn fuel pump might not be able to build up enough pressure (should be about 45 psi) but I don't see where that would give a bad O2, egr and evap.A cat going will build back pressure as your driving and if you accelerate, it will get worse.Of course, if this isn't part of the symptoms, I'm barking up the wrong tree.
