96 F250 Park lights come on when brake pedal is pressed

Park lights come on when brake pedal is pushed. I have totally disconnected lights on rear of truck and still does it. checked all bulbs, all are correct and good. removed flasher and still did it. all of trailer connection wiring has been disconnected as well. does anyone have an answer for this problem????

The stoplight wiring must be shorted to the brake light circuit. Maybe under the bed area. What happens when you use the turn signal?

A bad earth / ground can cause this fault .

With parking lights , is she not referring to front lights coming on ? Had many a car over here when the sidelights came on when braking and that was the cause , quite common fault .If not , ignore my suggestion , I'm not an auto electrician .

According to this diagram, your brake lights feed through the multifunction switch. You might be shorting in your lamp fixtures, but if that proves wrong, try replacing that.

Check all the ground wires and does the truck have a tow package?
