cool 97 f150 v-6,vacum hose identifaction?

NEED MORE INFO, COULD THE BELOW ISSUE CAUSE IDLE ,BRAKING PROBLEMS???my truck went to the shop because i had a idling issue, was idling high the going dead at stopping, would continue to run if kept pedaling acclerator, i picked up my vehilce and its doing ok,but now I noticed when i accelerate with the ac on or heat on ,the air stops blowing from the vents and blows out the defrost vents, also upon looking under the hood at vacum line ,i found on the passenger side up by the firewall a vacum junction(with four lines on each side) and a tee with two connectors at the top with one going through the firewall(i think to the blend door) and the other went toward the fenderwell behind the battery, well there i found the line from the tee plugged with a small bolt, i cant find the other end of that line, but did find a diagram online but i dont know what to look for as far as wher it may be???or if that has anything to do with the vent control section, thanks for any help sam

It's usually not enough of a leak to cause brake problems. Maybe the brake booster is leaking. I wouldn't let the brake problem go. That'd be my first repair. It sounds like you must have a major vacuum leak. Spray WD40 around the engine to see if the RPM changes and that'll point you toward an external leak.
