I was doing some random reading becuase i got board and noticed a thread about the EGR valve.. It was saying when he pulled the vacuum line off the EGR valve the truck almost died..

My question is on my truck when i pull the vaccum line off the truck makes no such indication of stalling or any differnece in idle.. Only time it would try to die is when i put a hose on it and suck through the hose.

Could something not be right?, I am getting a P0402, 171, and 174 which im sure it might be the DPFE,

Note that i do not have any Cats

The engine shouldn't die when the vacuum line is disconnected.
