Ac compressor does not kick in - Ford Forums

When I turn the air on it works. After a while when the compressor shuts down the clutch will not kick back in when it is supposed to and then blows outside air.

Are you saying the compressor turns off after a very short time and won't come back on until the car sets awhile.

Yes,when I fist start the truck it turns on like it should. After 15 Mins. of run time it the clutch does not kick back in to start the compressor back up.

What year, engine and model is it? It could be a pressure switch sticking.
