Yup, nuther newbie here, and yes Ive searched for the issue, but no results. New here but not to forums, been on off-road forums for many years and race off road as well, but no-one there can tell me.

Ive got an 06 F-350 ext cab shortbox with the V-10 in it. My airbag light flashes when first started, goes through three cycles then stays lit. It seems to be flashing twice, pause, then 7 times. Im assumming that means a code 27. Anyone know what this can be? Thanks

With the air bag light on, it shouldn't function or open, should you be involved in an accident. I'd take it in right away as if I'm not mistaken, code 27 is a faulty senso. Don't hold me to it, but I'm sure that's what it is. If you have an option to disable the passenger side air bag, that could also be what's causing the fault; defective switch. Worst case is that you might require a new clock spring.

As 360ci said, try disabling and reenabling the passender air bag to see if that fixes it. Sometimes you get a bad connection there.
