I have a 2003 F350 supercab 4wd. Lately the the door chime has not been going off immediately when I have the key in the ignition but not running. Now today it won't go off at all and when I am driving the symbol for "Door Open" is constantly lit. So my question is, where the hell is the switch for the door being closed? Is it the plastic toggle in the half door?? Anyone else have this problem and if so, what was your fix?? Thanks for any input on this one as it is driving me nuts and the interior and rear bed light won't go out either.

Spray WD40 generously in the latch mechanism, then open and close door a few times. The switch is located in the latch mechanism.
