Hi All:

My dad-in-law is truck shopping to replace an underpowered GMC pickup. I've suggested he wait for the new F-150 with the 5.0 litre or the new F-250 with the Power Stroke or new 6.2 litre gas engine. Does anyone have any idea when the 2011 will start arriving at the Ford dealers?

If he is complaining about under powered he should buy diesle. The 2011 come out in
August of 2010. They are out now but only for the test tracks. Watch Motor Week.

I believe you can order an F250 now at certain dealerships; the Kentucky plant should have commenced production runs today (after bening delayed a week). An order 4 weeks ago would probably get you the truck at your dealer in about 3 to 4 weeks from todays date (depending on where you are at)

Did some checking again... it looks like the 6.2L gas equipped trucks will probably be out sometime early April and the Diesels will be out late April... Hope this helps

The 2011 diesels are available now. My Dad picked up his F350 April 21st. Highway driving is already averaging 18.5 and towing is 11-12 with the 3.37 rear axle!
