jarv442 Registered User Join Date: Jan 2005 Posts: 1	Bad alternators? I own a 2002 F 250 7.3 D and the alternator went on it Dec. 29th, the part is on " national backorder " (still dont have it back). Does anybody know if there is a major flaw with the alternator. How can this not be a recall with a national backorder on the part? Luckily the truck is still under warranty and hopefully I can get the warranty extended on the alternator.
