Hey guys I just ordered ball joints online for my 93 Ford and they came with no boots or zerk fittings. Is it possible that these are the " greaseless" ball joints. If anyone has used these before or know if they are greaseless any info would be appreciated.

All ball joints need boots to keep the crap out. From experience, we use only genuine Ford ball joints in E-series & AU Fords. Aftermarket ball joints have poor tolerances when pressed into the arm. Mal.

Thanks for the reply tufLTD. I bought the ball joints online from a Ford website and they do have a boot on them, but it's not the usual big boot I have seen before. So I guess in fact they are the new wave of ball joints that dont need to be greased from Ford. Or so I have been told by someone who works at a parts store. I have never put in ball joints for a Ford before so I wasn't quite sure what the deal was. I know what you mean I buy everything that the factory uses as the quality is better. Thanks again.
