When you are bleeding the brakes, start at the farthest one first, the r. rear, the left rear, the right front and finally left front. Make sure to close them each off tightly while bleeding. Make sure your brakes are adjusted properly before bleeding. And don't be afraid to put through a lot of fluid and make sure your resevoir is full and you are not introducing air into the system. I have had Fords that took a few times to bleed, they can be stubborn sometimes.
