Help, I was hauling a trenching attachment for my skid steer loader adn broke out the center slider portion of my manual rear slider on my 03 f250 SD

Can this be replaced without removing the entire rear window??

If so, where might I be able to find one??

I called ford and they quoted me 215.00 for jsut the center piece but he wasnt sure if the window had to be removed to replace it. Heck I can get an entire aftermarket rear slider for around 250-of if that window has to come out an entire new one is going in for 35 bucks more.
