frown burned up spark plugs

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a new to me 98 F-150 step side with 32" tires and a lift kit. Engine is a 4.6L.
Anyways, the engine started misfiring on Cylinder #4, so I changed the spark plugs and wires. Biggest mistake was that I installed Bosch Platinum plugs. I now know that was a mistake. My truck ran awesome for two days and bam, misfires on cylinders 1, 3, 5, and 8.
Went down to Ford and bought Motocraft Platinum plugs and when I pulled the # 1 and #3 plugs, they were completely melted.
My truck still misfires on 1 and 3 and all the dealership could say was that the CATS were bad. But that doesn't make sense to me because I would think ALL four plugs in that bank would burn up.
Has anyone had this problem or know what could be the culprit for this little gremlin?
All help is greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance
Rob
