a/c freon in freon out cycles apparently normal, but not cold 60 degrees, but once it went down to 40,not steady,bottom line on the evaporator is cold not the top one.dont know what to do..

Sounds like it's low on freon. Hook up some pressure gauges to see if the operatin pressures are lower than normal.

Yeah do what backlash said, if those are good, if it has an orifice tube (located before the receiver/dryer, its the black cylinder that the line from the condenser goes too (Condenser: Looks like a miniture radiator and is loacted infront or behind the rad) Remove the orifice and clean it, my truck was doing the excat same thing and it was cuz the orifice tub was plugged, You may have to take it to a Shop to get them to clean it, u need special tools, they're excatly like the tools u need to take off the fuel lines to the fuel rails, if that dont work, gimme a better description of what you have and havent done and ill help yeah out, but backlash is right, probably just low
