I am trying to remove the damper spacer on an 89 f250 w/ 460, I have removed the pulley, damper and woodruff key, but the spacer will not come off, it moves forward and back just a hair, and I can twist it back and forth just a hair, but when I pull it, it sounds like it;s hitting something metal, but I cannot see any other key....
everything ive found so far says it may be kindof stuck, but like I said it sounds like it's hitting something metal. I can't find pictures anywhere, and the book sucks. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, or if you know where I can find some pics of a breakdown that would help as well... thanks in advance, never done this job on a ford, but have done timing on several different vehicles and never had this issue...do I just have to pry on it? PLEASE HELP!
