Couple f-250 questions

I'm looking at buying a x-cab long bed. it currently has bfg a/t tires on it, but i have no idea the other specs the tires. Anyone have a guess as to what the diameter in inches would be on these tires?

also what is the largest tire size that the stock rims can fit or that you can fit on a stock truck? dont have enough money right now for lift and tires, but i have enough after purchase of the truck for one, trying to figure out if I can get 35's on the stock wheels and truck without a lift, or whether I should lift it first.....

Thanks guys

Re: Couple f-250 questions

Hello, I've got a 88 F250 460 4x4 with 305/70/16 Buckshots. They're 10 1/2 wide by 31 high, the equivalent to 31/10.50's which are on my 89 F150. Gives me 10in clearance to frt differential case and 17in to frt spring shackle. Nice height and good clearance for occasional off-road. No clearance problems with turning radius easy to crawl under truck without needing a jack. Unless you're going in the woods and planning to making your own trails, be careful about lifting the truck too much. Remember, the higher the truck is the worse it'll be on the road. When you raise it up it screws with the geometry of the suspension and your center of gravity making the truck top heavy. I live in E Central Florida and the way some of the cowboys around here have their trucks jacked up, 20mph around a curve is enough to make it lean. Also consider the wear&tear on your drive line.
Hope this helped...Jim
