Dangerous Steering Column Shake on E350 15 Passenger Van
1998 E350 15 Passenger Van. When driving between 40mph and 45mph the steering column begins to shake (intermittently and sometimes violently) where I either have to slow down or speed up above 40 to 45 MPH speed range.
I have done the following to try to fix:
-New rotors and brake pads in front
-New shocks all the way around (heavy duty)
-Caster & camber checked - in spec.
-Tires rotated and balanced
-New bushings on steering mechanism
-Inspection of steering mechanism checked out good
-Tires have 25K miles on them
ANY THOUGHT ON WHAT MAY BE CAUSING THIS SHAKING?
