well, tried the code thing and got nothing,, decided to get ignition module checked,and
it was fine,, plugged it back in and got it bolted back down and then tried to start truck and it starts right up.. ???
Here is some help you may need to trouble shoot with.
From the TFI:
Pin 3 gets 12v power through the 'start' positon of the ignitoin switch and a fuse. Is there power at that time?
Coil is connected accross pins 4 and 5. Is the harness good?
Pin 4 also gets 12 v in 'Run only' through a relay, after cranking.
Bottom line is, there are two power circuits to the TFI.
One for starting and one for run.
From this you should be able to find the cause of a no start unless it's some other fault.
