how can i go about getting more horsepower out of my 351 w 1994 model. do they make a 4 valve head for my engine? what is the best cam to use as far as degrees and lift? where is the cheapest place to get an intake manifold lower part that will fit with the stock upper that is efi? what is the ft lbs stock on this truck at rearend on a 4x4 and what is the top speed that can be reached in this vehicle?

Where to start...

- no four valve heads for that motor, too much trouble anyways. If you really want new heads and intake, think about lightning parts (ford racing or ebay).

Do both the upper and lower intake manifold. the upper is the real problem. The different length runners starve the rear cylinders of air. the upper manifold specs are also what control some of the torque to hp abilities... longer runners=more torque.

as far as top speed... man the sky is the limit. look at some early lightnings to see what your truck is truly capable of. My buddies put blowers on some old 5.8 lightnings, now all the triton lightnings come with them, or used to before being discontinued.
