Dumb Questain

on a '04 f150 4.6 where would i find the sparkplugs? on my block the normal holes have not been drilled out. would i find them somewhere else? maybe under a cover or something? i dont even find spark plug wires...so what am i missing? i know this will be a simple fix and i'm sure i'll be red-faced when the answer comes, but i'm stumped, but ready for a tune-up.

Re: Dumb Questain

Coil on plug setup is quite common in newer engines. It eliminates the need for traditional spark plug wires. You'll have to remove the coil on top of each plug in order to change the plug. Best thing in your case I would think is to purchase a Chilton or Haynes manual from a local auto parts store, it'll give you detailed instructions and even torque specs to keep from damaging the coil packs etc.
