92flare4x4

I have a 92 f150 flareside 4X4 and it has trany issues. In the OD position it will upshift fine, but slowing down it will not down shift and almost stalls the engine. I've replaced the fluid and filter(including the converter) and added some "Lucas". Any help here would be awsome.

Sounds like the lock-up convertor isn't releasing. Just like a stick shift if you don't put the clutch in when you stop.
