Changing EGR tube that runs from ex. manifold to EGR valve on 94 F-150 300 straight 6. Sprayed WD-40 twice a day for three days before attempting. EGR side came right off. No success on exhaust side. Nut seems 2B odd size, can get 1 3/16" on but I don't think it's right and don't want to round it off. Nut is rusted really bad. Any suggestions?
Howdy, if you can shock the fitting with a hammer or drift and hammer on one of the flat faces of the fitting after you spray with some penitrating oil you might get it to turn. Other than that you may what to try heating it up.
