f 150 for towing and hauling

i am looking for an f 150 as a third vehicle to tow a 16-18 foot travel trailer, 24 foot pontoon boat, and a 16 foot fishing boat.
i haul trash and a duck blind from time to time.
if i have $5-10 k to spend what year model and engine should i get.
i would like a crew cab and a base model as opposed to fancy.
what mileage can i expect, for both 2 wd and 4 wd?
i have a f250 4 wd now that is too rough for my wife with a bad back to ride in.
thanks,
steve

Well ill start with if you have an f-250 might be better off spending some money to make it ride a little better. If you still want a 150 for the money I would get an 03 or down. Will hold up better to random use and be easier to find in your price range. I had an 03 super crew 4x4. Loved it. Sold it at 200k and its still going strong at 280k+. I'm not an fan of the 5.4 3 valve motor used in the 04 and up trucks.

What kind of terrain? I'm in upstate NY and I don't recommend anyone buying a truck without 4WD unless they don't drive much in the winter. Had an 87 F250 with 2WD and it was worse than a 72 Mustang we once owned.
