f-250 starting problems

Hello-
I have a 1997 F-250 light duty with the 5.?L engine. I have recently begun having problems with it not starting. It's not the battery, as I just replaced that. The only telltale sound I get is one click, sounding like its coming from the fuse panel under the hood, right in front of the passenger side. Anybody know what might be causing this? Replys are greatly appreciated.

Jeremy

Re: f-250 starting problems

with your description i cant be sure but it sounds like the relay is clicking and the starter solonoid is not.
it could be just a loose wire or the solonoid could be going bad.
it might not even be those causing your problem but it is a good place to start looking.
