Ok....don't flame me too bad here and I did search but, found no answer. I have a 1999 F-350 super duty and the bed is garbage. Will a F-150 bed from the same year fit? It is a single diesel tank reg bed. My friends F-150 looks the same. The reason I ask is the local boneyards want 1200.00 for a F-350 bed and 550.00 for a F-150.
The short bed is 6 3/4 for the F350 and 6 1/2 for the F150. The 8 ft are the same length but call for a different part number. So it looks like neither one can be switched. The F250 is the same as the F150.
