2004 F-350 brake lights come on while it's parked and not running. This happens intermittently and they usually stay on for 15 or 20 seconds and then go off. Brake switch has been changed by the dealer several time but it's still happening. Any ideas? Could it be the trailer brake controller?
I notice that the trailer brake indicator comes on at times while driving without applying brakes so I'm reluctant to pull a trailer with the trailer brakes connected.

There may be corroded wires or a bad connection on the trailer wiring jack. Look there for any "Green death" and also follow the harness to the main hookup for corrosion there. You could also have a bad brake controller.
