I have a 99 F-350 4x4 crew with 8" lift It`s always had a" random" clunk in the front end but the tire guys can`t find anything wrong with it. Anyway It`s got 37"goodyears on it and the inside of the front tires are wearing badly Any clues?

I lifted my 01 F250 8" with 37" Cooper STT. I do have a small clunk, but checked it out today and I think it is the splines in the rear end/drive line. Its not enough to worry about and it only does it when I take off from a stand still. As far as the tire wear, I just rotated my tires today and besides the rears being wore down (from a little tire spin) they are wearing great. Only about 5 K on the new tires though. I'll keep an eye on them.

I think I may have figured out why you were complaining about poor mileage in the thread about F-350 fuel mileage.
