I'm tired of seeing Ford Hotrods with Chevy power. I'd like to put a 58 Chevy Apache on a late model Ford truck chassis with Ford power. I know a long bed Ranger has the correct 114 in wheelbase, but I need V-8 power for A/C and pulling a trailer. Can anybody tell me what wheelbases were available in 73 - 75 F100 or F150?

Cool! I'm trying to get specs for a simular project. I've got a 95 4x4, ext. cab with a short bed that's wrecked. I'm planning to put a 54 chevy on top. Being an 8 ton front end, it's got large wheelwell openings which ought to house the 38 inch Mickey Thompsons real nice. I haven't checked the wheelbase compatibility yet, but I'm going to extend the cab to fit. Good luck with your project. Have you found a site for specs?
