'97 ford f150 with electric shift.Will not engage or dissengage unless i disconect the battery for a minute than reconnect battery. have checked all fusses and they are good have 5 volts at switch on dash. Ican make motor on transfercase work by using remote power source otherwise i have no power at motor vacum hoses appear in good condition. Found 2 relays up under dash not sure if they control 4wd. my chiltons manual dosn't show wiring diagram for 4wd circuit thanks for any help.
the wiring harness checked out o.k.?my buddy had the same problem he istalled a stereo and screwed the amp fastening srew right through the harness just throwing some ideas out there
