F150 Fuel Filter
1989 F150 with dual tanks. The inline fuel filter which is supposed to be located on the driver's side frame rail is not there. The only components between the tanks and the engine are the dual function reservoir and the fuel pump. There is a cartridge filter available for this make and model which looks like it might fit into the reservoir however this is not covered in the Haynes repair manual or on any websites I have read. If this filter is inside the reservoir, how do you disassemble the reservoir? It looks like a one piece component.
