Hello,
I have a 1999 F250 ext cab. 2WD 4.6L Triton. I want a street truck but i want some added power. Money isnt a huge deal but i dont have 2000$ for a supercharger but i couple hundred isnt bad. What do i need? i think i'm gonna start with a K&N cold air intake. Also any ideas on how to give it the street look i'm up for suggestions. Please help.

Get a tuner. I suggest the X3 from SCT. I have the LiveWire.

What exactly does a tuner do? Is it like a chip for trucks? Can you show me a website to get one?

What a tuner does is it allows you to change operating parameters, You can add or subtract spark and add fuel or change the value for a gear change. Go to 5 Star Tuning | Custom Dynomemeter Chassis Tuning Products and Services and SCT Automotive Performance Products for more info.
