I hope there is someone out here that can help . I have had a ? ( around 2001 ) F25 abandon at my place of business . It is definetly hot . The #s on the door post and under windsheild have been changed and come back as a 2000 1/2 ton step side . It is a 250 or 350 supercab 4 door , with a 5.4 . Our local dealer dosn,t seem to know where Ford puts VIN numbers other than the usual . Is it in the computor and can it be removed somehow to run a carfax and see its history . There has to be someone who can tell me where to look , I looked inside bumpers , was told it could be there but NO . HELP . In advance THANX

Finally found out . The VIN is behind air bag and on top of frame by drivers door , need mirror for this one .
