F450 V10 compressor replacement

Hey I have a 2001 F450 V10 2wd that the compressor is making all sort of noises and not cooling while over 50 or so. If I stop it will start cooling. I think it is the clutch or the barrings in the compressor. how do I find out witch one it is and is it hard to replace the compressor? I have all the recovery tanks and pump.

Thanks for the help

Here's how you can check if the clutch is worn by the gap. | Repair Guides | Compressor | Clutch & Field Coil Replacement | AutoZone.com

What are the pressures?

If you're going to open the refrigerant system, your better off going to someone with the tooling and training. Shouldn't be opening the system for the clutch, though.
