Ford F150 - 98 F150 4.6 Romero Cylinder Heads installation
I took my truck to the a friend of mines shop oooo about a month and a half two months ago to diagnose and repair my problem. The problem was the two pre cats clogged up and from driving it so much it ended up burning all of my valves in both heads.
So its been about a month since the heads have come back from the machine shop and all the gaskets, timing chain, and guides have been ordered and are now ready to be put on. The guy is taking forever to do anything with it and keeps telling me it will be done Tuesday, for the past 3 weeks he's been saying that. So im kinda getting tired of hearing that.
My question is how do i put the heads and everything back together, since i didnt see the parts come off i dont really have an idea how they go on. The main thing is the timing chain position with the crank position and a what should go on first and the next etc. I have done a couple of head removals on a toyota and Geo and have pretty good knowlage with working on engines. Im hoping to get this done this saturday
Any help would be greatly appreciated
