have a "00" f 250 with 7.3 power stroke. seems the drain valve for the filter housing is leaking when the engine is running. slow drip. is there a rebuild kit for the housing, or will I have to replace the whole thing?
I am not sure if it can be fixed or not. I have always replaced them, but never attempted to fix one. Maybe if you remove it, you can see if it is fixable or not.
hello i have a 2000 f350 sd and i had the same problem. its an cheap fix just a lil hard to get your hands in. on the back of your fuel houseing there is a fuel drain valve. there is 2 O rings that go bad in that drain valve. you need to buy a new valve approx $45-60. the hardest part was getting the little tork screws out and then back in due to the amount of room you have for your hands. good luck and dont do what i did you must put the turn lever in b4 you mount the new valve or you have to take it back to do so which makes this job a little longer
