I was wondering how much labor is involved in the removal of the passenger compartment FUSE Box/block. Do i have to remove the instrument cluster and is there a lot of removal involved. I'm about to head to see if I can do this, just wondering if someone has already done this before!
It's a 98 Ford F150, 4.2,
I been having problems with lights and other accesories not working cause the fuses dont sit correctly. I just want to take a look at that see if its not water damage as some people have suggested.
Anyone out there has any clue if I need to remove the entire cluster or is there just a few things to remove? Its been raining down here south TX, so I haven't gotten a chance to start this project.
Well the update is that I am waiting on a short circuit tracer from the auto parts store. i was able to remove more than I needed luckily i kept track or the order. But there was no short noticeable. Im hoping I can get to trace this short soon. If anyone has this happened to them before please let me know, I will like to start at the know problem locations.
