front and rear tanks leak on recently purchased f-150 1995. i'm not worried about the rear but i would like to be able to fill my front tank. is there a remedy for this problem other than replacing it. it only leakes when it is filled over 3/4 of a tank. how much trouble and money for a replacement tank/:beerbottl:beerbottl:beerbottl:BW::BW::BW:
no i have not located the source. i do not use the rear tank b/c of previous owners warnings. today i topped off the front tank for the first time. it leaked until ir reached just above the 3/4 mark on my fuel gauge. if i could get both tanks for around $200 i would have my buddy install them or maybe just the front. maybe i could repair both but i dont know where to start. what products work, if any?
I never thought to look for new tanks and didn't know RockAuto sold them. Thanks for the input.
