Glow Plug Broken

New to Diesels. Removed glow plug and lower end broken off. DO I need to remove the head or is it ok to install the new one?

are you sure its broken or is it burned off . if its burnt ok pul new ones in. BUTif its broken you better not try to crank it be for you pull the head
